There you have it folks.  This is a slide from a recent lecture on the Pharmacology of Drugs of Abuse.  For all of the psychological “benefits” of smoking weed, you can’t ignore the negative effects that chronic maraijuana smoke has on your lungs.  Don’t get me wrong…I agree that it has great potential in therapy for AIDS patients (stimulates appetite) and people suffering through chemotherapy (inhibits implicated nausea and vomiting), but it shouldn’t a be a part of your regular life. 
If you want to feel alive, set a goal that turns heads and smash it.  It’ll give you a greater high than that provided by drugs like marijuana.  Plus, your lungs won’t hate you.
